How QuietFlow suppressors are designed, what they are made from, and what we build them to do.
How a suppressor works
A suppressor does not make a shot silent. It gives hot, high-pressure gas room to expand, slows it down, and lets it out more gradually.

Gas gets room
When the bullet leaves the muzzle, expanding gas follows it into the suppressor. The first chamber gives that gas space to spread out instead of exiting all at once.
Baffles redirect it
Each baffle splits and redirects the gas, slowing it down and shedding heat as it works its way down the stack.
A gentler exit
By the time gas reaches the front cap it has lost much of its speed and pressure, which is what turns a sharp crack into a much quieter report.
Performance, not just a number
Every QuietFlow design is judged on the whole shooting experience, not a single spec.
Sound suppression
The reason a suppressor exists. We start here and measure everything else against it.
Tone
Quieter is only part of it. We care about how a suppressed shot actually sounds.
Gas management
Where the gas goes matters. Good baffle design keeps backpressure and blowback in check.
Weight
Every ounce hangs off the end of your barrel, so we design to keep it as low as the application allows.
Durability
Materials and construction are chosen for the firearm and the use it is meant for.
Value
Performance that makes sense for the price, from workhorse steel to lightweight titanium.
Where the engineering shows
Zero Flow baffle tips
The AIRCHOPA 30Ti uses patent-pending Zero Flow baffle tip geometry across an 8-baffle, 3D-printed titanium stack. It weighs 8.3 oz and is 6.65 in long, with a Bravo HUB mount and a 5/8-24 direct-thread hub included.
Vented baffle design
The Engine No. 9 is vented for less blowback, with 10 baffles in machined, welded 17-4 stainless. It is full-auto rated and covers .17 HMR through .338 Win Mag. Bravo HUB mount, with 1/2-28 and 5/8-24 direct-thread hubs included.
11-baffle rimfire stack
The THROTTLE 22Ti packs 11 baffles into a sealed, 3D-printed titanium body at just 3.7 oz. It is rated .22LR through 5.7x28 FN and full-auto rated for rimfire.
Serviceable rimfire design
The 22-WHISTLER comes apart for cleaning. It uses 11 baffles in 17-4 stainless and 7075 aluminum, weighs 6.6 oz, and is rated .22LR, .22 WMR, .17 HMR and 5.7x28 FN, full-auto rated for rimfire.
Measured, with the conditions listed
Peak dB reduction versus unsuppressed, from our own testing in October 2026, measured with a Larson Davis Spartan™ Model 821. Results vary with ammunition, host firearm and barrel length.
| Model | Test | At the muzzle | At the shooter's ear |
|---|---|---|---|
| AIRCHOPA 30Ti | .308 Win | −38.0 dB | −34.6 dB |
| ENGINE NO. 9 | 9mm, 5 in pistol, 147gr subsonic | −31.5 dB | Not reported |
| THROTTLE 22Ti | .22LR subsonic, 16.5 in rifle | −26.3 dB | −20.3 dB |
| 22-WHISTLER | .22LR subsonic, 16.5 in rifle | −24.9 dB | −20.3 dB |
Three materials. Three jobs.
Different materials and manufacturing methods for different applications.
Stainless Steel Welded
Our workhorse suppressors. The Engine No. 9 is machined and welded 17-4 stainless, durable on the range and rated across a wide caliber span. The 22-WHISTLER pairs 17-4 stainless with 7075 aluminum.
3D-Printed Titanium
Metal additive manufacturing lets us build lightweight suppressors with internal geometry that would be very hard to machine.
3D-Printed Inconel
Built for high endurance, heat resistance and gas management in demanding applications.
